Broward General Medical Center is a 716-bed, state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Ft. Lauderdale’s largest healthcare facility.
Full Time Eligible 72 Hours per pay period. Every Other Weekend. 7pm-7am. Current Florida Respiratory Therapist. BLS card required. ACLS preferred and NRP, PALS a plus. Strong customer and communication skills a must. Experienced therapist with at least Three years critical care. PICU and NICU experience a plus. Knowledge in critical care must be current. Under limited supervision, provides quality respiratory care in an appropriate, safe and cost effective manner in accordance with NBHD policy, regulatory standards, and clinical practice guidelines. Provides patient care, diagnostic testing, recommendations and education to ensure optimal patient outcomes based upon best practice.
