Broward General Medical Center is a 716-bed, state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Ft. Lauderdale’s largest healthcare facility.
Full Time Eligible 72 Hours per pay period. 7am-7pm. Three Days a week. Every other weekend. High school graduate or equivalent. Current Florida CNA license or completion of an accredited vocational school PCA/PCT program. Current Phlebotomy and EKG certification. Must have current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross provider. One year previous experience as a CNA/PCA in hospital setting. Under the direction of a R.N., the Patient Care Associate provides patient focused non-licensed clinical care, such as phlebotomy, EKG and basic nursing skills, etc., to facilitate quality service outcomes.
